Our Koru Whanau Art

Have a look at our Koru art. These Korus represent our families. Each Koru is a person in our family. All our families look different. Some of us have just a mum or a dad or both. Some of us included our grandparents because we spend alot of time with them and they help us out a lot.  Can you guess who's family is who's just by looking?

And can you guess how we made them a bit see through?

We are learning to use positional language to describe where an object is.

This week we are learning to describe where something is by using positional language. We read Scattercat by Lynley Dodd to help us brainstorm some words. We were so inspired by this that we ended up coming up with nearly 10 more extra positional words all by ourselves! Aren't we clever!
